Psychological therapy provides a confidential space to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that may be causing distress or getting in the way of daily life. A clinical psychologist is trained to help you understand patterns, develop coping strategies, and work towards meaningful change.

The first session is an opportunity to:

  • Talk about what’s brought you to therapy
  • Ask questions about the process
  • Discuss goals and expectations
  • Decide together whether we’re a good fit

There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Sessions typically last 50 minutes and usually take place weekly. Some clients prefer fortnightly sessions, which can be discussed depending on your needs.

No. You can self-refer directly. However, if you are working with your GP or another healthcare professional, you may choose to let them know you’re in therapy.

Yes. Sessions can be offered online via secure video platforms as well as in person (if applicable). Online therapy can be just as effective and offers greater flexibility.

I am registered with selected private health insurance providers. Please check with your insurer to confirm eligibility before booking.

Sessions that are cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged at 100% of the agreed price. Exceptions may be made for emergencies at the clinician's discretion

(Detailed Cancellation Policy is available)

That’s very common. You’re welcome to get in touch for a free initial consultation to see whether therapy feels like a good next step. There’s no obligation to continue.
